About Alberni Valley Ministries

Who we are

We are on a journey to discover the life God has for us. Our church is about sharing life together and there are many ways to stay connected here at The Salvation Army.

We exist in our community to provide a place that offers new hope and real help to those who need it most. We operate a Food Banks BC certified food bank, serving hundreds of families every month. During the summer months we run the school breakfast lunch program for students who avail themselves of that service at school during the year. We help people in addictions and emergencies. We run programs for at-risk children and youth. And at our church we host services each Sunday and offer emotional and spiritual care to everyone without discrimination.
